Two years in the making... We took the best of what the X5 and Nomad have to offer and blended them perfectly together creating the new 2007 Nomad RC.
As we all know when it comes to high performance tournament slalom skis, all that really matters is, “DOES IT WORK.” Each manufacturer promises every year that they have the best ski or have improved the ski they had last year. I have sat at this computer each season for five years writing copy to convince all of you that we have done our absolute best to produce a ski that will improve your scores.
Some years it has been easy… and others much more challenging. This year I would like to let the ski do the talking. As a fellow competitive skier just like all of you, I am always searching for a ski to help me ski better each year. I truly believe I have found it.

What we think:
For years we have been waiting for D3 to make a faster ski, and it is finally here. Very quick cross course and able to hold the angle created in the turn. Of course, there is always a trade-off between speed and stability, and the RC has lost some of that trademark D3 stability in the turn. But we see it as a welcome change, still plenty of stability when compared to other skis, and starting to have that quick cross course rythmn that makes skiing fun.
